The hubby has a cold, or at least I hope it's just a cold and not the flu.

Too Cold to go out today so instead I dusted my cabinets in the kitchen, they were in major need of a good dusting, and now it is sparkling up there

We are going off our theme today to take snow pictures.

I think the paper guy loves me this is what I found in the driveway this morning when I went to retrieve the paper,heart tire marks

Cooking, baking and trying new recipes is another hobby of mine. Tonight I tried out a new chicken recipe and country gravy recipe and they both were outstanding!

OK so this is obviously not a picture I took today but it is one I took, I needed a picture for my hobby post today and since it is the middle of Jan. I had to cheat.


I love flowers and in the spring and summer gardening is my number one hobby.

Saving money and finding a great bargain is another hobby of mine. I use to only do my deal hunting online but last summer I started couponing and have saved a lot of moula on the daily things which has in turn freed up more money for my Internet shopping hobby:)

Reading is my most favorite hobby, I read a wide range and variety of books.

Taking pictures is another of my hobbies, I especially love nature pics

This weeks theme is hobbies and one of my hobbies since childhood is collecting spoons from all over the world, my Grandmom had started it for me.

When I was 19 I lost most of my possessions along with my spoons so when I was 24 my husband bought me this spoon rack and I started collecting again with a lot of help from my MIL,she got me all the ones from other countries, and am so happy I have because looking at each of these spoons gives me a different memory of either where I was when I bought it or when I was given it as a gift.

Is thinking one day it will be warm enough to play with these things again

At our house the refrigerator is where all the artwork, accomplishments, reminders and interesting photos go and some stay there for years! I have one drawing B did when she was 4 still on there and I wouldn't have it any other way because I love the messy chaos of it and the jumble of memories I get when looking at one thing or another.

As you may have noticed my pictures have been going along with a theme and that theme is weekly. Last weeks was New and this weeks is 100, I'm not so sure I will stick with the theme this week but I will try:)

We got a couple of giftcards for Christmas so I thought we should go out and use them,so we had brunch at Crackerbarrel then went shopping.

This is one of the things we bought with some of our giftcard money, isn't it great LOL, it's some electrical tool Eric needed for work.

Winter break is over and the kids have finally gone back to school today so I have big plans to do nothing but curl up with this book and sip hot tea today!

My MIL gave me a giftcard to Kohl's for Christmas and with it I bought these awesome boots and since they arrived yesterday they have only been off my feet for sleeping and showers.
